It’s that time of year again! The weather is changing, fall is approaching, and whether you love it or hate it, the season of pumpkin spice everything is upon us. Personally, I always enjoyed a good pumpkin spice latte, but after cleaning up my diet a few years ago, they’ve been a big no-no.

No worries, though. This at-home version is good enough to rival its more popular counterpart any day. Even better, this drink is loaded with metabolism-boosting, gut-healing ingredients. You won’t find that at your favorite coffee shop!

If you’re a Trim Healthy Mama like me, this recipe is an “S” when made as written, or a “FP” if you leave out the coconut oil. It’s also Paleo, as well as Keto and Whole 30 friendly (if you eliminate the stevia). Give it a try! Health food never tasted so good!

1/4 tsp stevia (optional) link no longer available 1/2 tbs coconut oil (optional) link no longer available 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice link no longer available (a regular blender will work, too) link no longer available Brew your coffee like you normally would (I use a link no longer available , because #coffeesnob). While it’s brewing, pour about 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk into a cup, and add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. You can either do this in your regular blender, or grab an immersion blender, which makes this really quick and easy!

A couple of the ingredients are optional. If you’re on a whole 30 (or just want to avoid sweeteners), you can easily enjoy this drink without the stevia. Since I’m not currently on a whole 30, I wanted something a little sweeter. Either way, it’ll come out creamy and a little sweet due to the other ingredients!

Coconut oil is also optional. I personally love adding just a bit to mine to make it froth a little bit more. Plus, the fats in the coconut oil offer a great metabolism boost! I don’t recommend eating tablespoons of coconut oil every day (I’m a “everything in moderation” kinda gal), but for a sweet treat, it’s a good addition!
