A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of getting some family photos done on the beach. It was totally last minute. In fact, I found out about 3 hours after I dyed the girls hair as part of their not-back-to-school celebration.
But, I’ve been wanting some pictures done on the beach since I moved my family back to my hometown, and I wasn’t letting go of this spot.
I think, honestly, that having no time to prepare and analyze the decision helped the pictures come to life.
Like most moms, I start overanalyzing link no longer available when we have pictures scheduled. Hair styles, makeup, outfits…you name it. Everyone gets a makeover.
Not this time, though. I hurredly grabbed clothes out of everyone’s closets and laid them out on my bed. What colors could we use that would:
look gorgeous on the beach, and link no longer available not clash with bright pink and teal hair?
Thank goodness for link no longer available , right? I brought the problem to my stories and all of you so kindly gave me advice on what to choose.
I must say, I couldn’t be happier.
These images are the most beautiful, most natural pictures we’ve ever had.
If you’re in the Southeast Texas area, I can’t recommend link no longer available Ivy Lany Portraits link no longer available enough! In the last 7 years, Simone has never let us down. If you’re a fan of lifestyle images that really capture your family, she’s your girl.
Check out some of my favorites from our session! I’m totally in love, and I’m currently deciding which one to put on a canvas in our living room!
The images below are property of the Cruise Family and link no longer available Ivy Lane Portraits link no longer available and my only be used with their written permission.
I love these people more than I can say.
This light, ya’ll.
Confession: I’ve been loosely planning our 10 year anniversary this past month. I just realized it’ll be our 11th. Time flies when you’re having this much fun.
Would you believe this is just a teeny fraction of the images we received for our session? If you’ve been on the fence about getting family pictures taken, don’t be! It’ll be one of the best investments you’ll ever make.
