I have a confession to make. It took a long time to realize it, but I’m a link no longer available perfectionist. I’ve been working on this for awhile now, and thought I’d share some of my tips on overcoming perfectionism.
How do you know if you’re a perfectionist?
I never really thought of myself as a perfectionist, but when I held myself up to this list, my eyes were opened. Here are some things that you might deal with if you are a perfectionist:

I can’t even tell you how many projects I have had floating around in my brain that I never tackled. They weren’t perfect, so I just never started.

I’m working on overcoming perfectionism, so hopefully, my next big idea will be one that I actually try.
How I’m overcoming perfectionism.
I want to overcome perfectionism, because I know that it will help me thrive. Perfectionism makes me feel stressed out, overwhelmed, tired, frustrated, and like I’m not enough. No one is created to feel like that all the time.
If you’re like me and trying to fight against perfectionism, here are a few things I’ve found helpful for myself:

No one is. Allow yourself to let go and embrace yourself just as you are. I’ll be right there with you on this journey.
