It’s a new year, and with that usually comes lots of plans to change and do better in our lives. And, one really popular change people are making these days is to be more mindful of the products they are buying and using for their families. This is a question I get asked about all the time over on Instagram, and so, today, I wanted to round up some of my favorite clean living brands to try this year.

Friends, believe me when I tell you this list wasn’t created lightly. No one paid me to write this or to include their products, because, well, I don’t work that way. With that said, I am affiliated with some of these brands, which means I can earn a commission. But rest assured, I only made that decision after purchasing my own items and loving them enough to decide they were worthy of my recommendations here.

They are effective, easy to find, and affordable-making them more sustainable for the average person trying to do better.

I love a good “one-stop-shop” and that’s exactly what Aillea is! All of the “it” natural beauty brands are represented here, which makes it a great place to browse and find new things to try. And, since their standards are pretty strict, you know you can trust what you find on this site.

I discovered Acure because they were the very first natural shampoo that worked for my hair. For years, I dealt with oily buildup and an itchy scalp as I tried brand after brand. Finally, a friend recommended that I try Acure, and I was hooked! Since then, I’ve tried several of their products, all with good results.

The wellness industry has really blown up over the last few years, and while that’s mostly a good thing, it also makes things really confusing. The more popular something gets, the more companies jump on the trend and create products. And, while it’s great to have options, it also opens up a lot of uncertainty.

Which companies actually have our best interests at heart? And which companies are just following the trend to rake in more dough as cheaply as they can?

Well, I can’t answer that exclusively. All I can say is, do your research on a company before you blindly trust their marketing.

All I can do is share a couple of my favorites with you. These are a couple of brands we’ve used regularly. I’ve been pleased with their price points, the information they put out, their transparency, and the effectiveness of their products.
