We’re huge fans of summer over here. Sunny days, homemade lemonade, barbecues with friends, splashing in the pool, and evenings on the beach….
these are a few of my favorite things.
Of course, here on the Texas coast, we’re already relishing in a lot of those things, and will be for
to come, but I know the rest of the country is still waiting on their turn. Still, it doesn’t hurt to start making your home feel summery to get you in the mood, right?

It’s no secret we love essential oils over here. We have diffusers in almost every room of our house, and a huge collection of oils that are used for a variety of reasons. We use essential oils for everything from skincare to wellness, and even add them to our DIY cleaning recipes. But, my very favorite way to use essential oils is to make my home smell good.
It’s a great intro to using oils, too, because it’s simple and has a very clear purpose (making your home smell good).
