Spiced Apple Cider Holiday Mimosa Recipe

I’m kidding, of course. I actually don’t drink that early in the day, because if I do, I’ll be ready for a nap before lunch.

, I’m a huge fan of a good mimosa while I prep for the holidays.

This year, these cinnamon apple cider mimosas are my drink of choice, and I

just have to keep the ingredients stocked and at the ready from now until Christmas.

This holiday mimosa would be a great addition to your Thanksgiving prep, holiday parties, brunch, and all the way up to Christmas morning by the tree.

Holiday Mimosa Recipe:

I love these because they’re such a festive twist on the usual favorite. Orange juice just feels so summery to me. But apples and spice?

They’re just so cozy and delicious. Plus, they’re gorgeous and just looking at them gives me all the holiday feels.

Ingredients (makes several):

One jug of spiced apple cider: you can get any kind you like, but personally, I love the Suja Spiced Apple Cider.

One bottle of sparkling white wine or champagne: I usually grab a Prosecco from

Sliced apples (optional)

1-2 tbs sugar (optional)

1-2 tbs ground cinnamon (optional)

On a small plate, mix your cinnamon and sugar together. Dip your wine glass or champagne flute in water, then dip it in the sugar so it sticks to the rim.

Add a healthy splash of apple cider to your prepared glass. Then, add a few frozen cranberries to the mix and top off your glass with your bubbles of choice.

If you want to pretty up your glass, add a slice of apple to the rim as a garnish.

Your holiday table isn’t set until you have a fun cocktail to serve. This holiday mimosa reminds me of crunchy fall leaves, cozy knits, and sitting by the fire. All of my seasonal favorites, wrapped up in a glass.
